Department of Fine Arts

Established as Center for Fine arts(CFA) in 2011 and promoted as Department of Fine Arts [DFA] in 2016 with the aim to preserve, promote, and popularize our cultural treasures among the members of young generation, by imparting quality training to students and mould them to have good exposure to their Performing arts. The PG and UG Programme in MFA and BFA in Dance (Bharathanatyam) and M.F.A and B.F.A in Music are being conducted since 2016. The visual arts Programme Bachelor of Fine Arts [B.F.A] in Painting has introduced in the Academic year– 2018-19 and MFA Painting has introduced in 2021-22.

  • Providing human values and good exposure with the best quality of education in Performing and Visual Arts
  • Offering Courses ranging from Certificate to Ph.D Programme in traditional Music, Dance and Painting
  • Encouraging the students in participating in various Cultural/ Co-curricular activities related to Fine arts/ Performing Arts
